In the Champagne region of France, rose can either be made by slow pressing the black grapes (Pinot Noir mainly) to allow the colour in the skin to taint the wine, or at the assemblage(blending) stage the red wine can be added to the blend. An elegant, fresh and well balanced champagne with a fine, crisp mousse. On the palate, this pink champagne has fruity light berry flavours with subtle richer wafts of butter and biscuits.
